Pray
Spend a few moments in gratitude, thanking God for one or two blessings. Ask God to show you if now is a good time to seek a spiritual director.
Schedule
Click on the appointment button to schedule a free session. We’ll talk about what you’re searching for and answer your questions.
Discern
After our first meeting, ask God to help you discern the spirit’s leading. Once you’ve made your decision, wait a few days for God’s confirmation. If yes, contact me to schedule our first spiritual direction meeting.
Try it
Email me of your decision to begin. Let me know your best meeting times and what you can afford to pay. We might try it for 2 or 3 sessions to see if we are a good fit for each other.
Who is Paul Potter?
My story includes being a healthcare provider and business owner for forty years. My wife and I are happily married and have four adult daughters.
I’ve been a spiritual mentor with others for over 40 years. As a spiritual director, I sense a call to companion others to pursue their calling at various life stages.
Others describe me as hardworking, having an expansive heart for truth, and a listening heart that is just a call away.
What is spiritual direction?
Spiritual direction is not primarily about religion. It is spiritually charged with living ordinary life in an extraordinary way.
It’s for ordinary hardworking people who are trying to pay the bills and are committed to living a meaningful life.
Spiritual companionship is a relationship in which one person listens to another to help sense the movement of God in their daily lives.

Cost:
$45-$65 Whatever you can afford in this range in good conscience is acceptable.
Sessions are usually monthly. I’m able to meet in person and online through the Zoom, Google Meet or Facetime apps.
Payment can be made through PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Pay. If you have not used these online payment methods. Email me and I will send you intructions.
If you feel you need spiritual direction but cannot afford it, ask about the sliding scale option during our initial meeting.
Some spiritual directors are supported by religious orders and do not charge a fee. To find these directors, call any religious order or retreat center.
